Peninsula Hill has been carefully planned to create a neighbourhood that sits naturally within the landscape above Queenstown.
Rather than imposing a development onto the land, the master plan follows the contours of the hillside — shaping sections, roads, open spaces and future amenities around the environment already here.
The result is a neighbourhood designed to feel connected to its surroundings, with protected views, all-day sun and space to grow over time.

At the heart of Peninsula Hill, an architecturally designed village eatery will form the new community centre.
The restaurant will allow residents and visitors to enjoy what is a completely unique offering for this end of the Kelvin Peninsula. With its sunny north-facing aspect and relaxed setting, the restaurant will be a place to dine, meet, and enjoy the views across the Frankton Arm and beyond.
Set to be completed in 2027.

Peninsula Hill has been shaped with a long-term view — balancing future growth with the protection of the landscape and environment that make this place unique.
The wider hillside includes areas dedicated to conservation and ecological restoration, reflecting an ongoing commitment to stewardship across the peninsula.
A predator-protected lizard sanctuary sits within the landscape, providing habitat for some of New Zealand’s native species and forming part of a broader effort to protect and restore the natural environment for future generations. Together with native planting, open green spaces and careful land planning, these initiatives ensure Peninsula Hill remains connected to the environment around it.
